How we put these guides together
We’re a small editorial team, not a clinic — here’s exactly how we work instead.
• Every claim about a medication, disorder, or statistic links to a primary source: a health authority (NHS, FDA, CDC), a peer-reviewed journal, or a recognized clinical body (AASM, Mayo Clinic).
.• Every guide is reviewed against its sources by our in-house editor before it’s published.
• We do not publish invented case studies, fabricated “patients,” or made-up credentials.
• Nothing here replaces a conversation with a doctor. Pages with medical content carry a visible disclaimer.
Why most sleep advice online is either too vague or too extreme
Search “how to sleep better” and you’ll get either a listicle of 30 generic tips or a wellness blog selling you a $90 supplement. We built Sleep Aid Research to sit in between: specific enough to actually act on, sourced enough to trust, and honest about where the evidence runs out. If a guide can’t point to a real source for a claim, we don’t make the claim.
